Need a Roll-Off container?
Temporary Roll Off Guidelines
Timetable
Beacon requires 48 hours advanced notice to spot, exchange or pick up any container. We often can deliver or swap container within 24 hours if our schedule allows it. Customer may use container for 1-2 weeks unless container is in consistent use.
Container Placement
Please allow sufficient space for container to be dropped. Containers range from 20-40ft, not including the length of the truck cab. Make sure the area is cleared of low hanging obstructions such as power lines or tree limbs. In addition, the truck must have a solid surface to place the container on. For example, full container will easily sink into a muddy surface.
Restricted Materials
Beacon roll off containers are for scrap metals only. The following items are prohibited:
Trash/Garbage, Wood, Dirt, Hazardous Waste, Paper, Plastics, Concrete, Glass, Insulation, Monitors, Tires and Cardboar
Loading Requirements
Metal materials loaded into our box should not exceed the height of the inside side of the box. If the box is “over filled,” our drivers are instructed not to pick up at the cost of the customer. Transporting an overfilled box is both illegal and potentially dangerous. Please help keep care of our containers. If the container is damaged while in the customer’s possession, the customer is responsible for any repairs.
Pricing and Transportation Fees
Since scrap metal markets frequently change, our pricing structure changes as well. To get an estimate of what your scrap is valued, please reach out to our commercial team (see commercial page). Transportation costs will also change pending on the distance and time spent by our drivers. The Beacon Team will transparently inform you of any costs once we have all the information.
